The things you find when going through old newspapers. I'd like to find out more about the Chicken Tavern. There aren't many places these days that would let customers personally inspect their kitchen. This is from the June 13, 1925 Winona Republican-Herald newspaper.

I thought I'd see what Minnesota City folk were doing 100 years ago on this date. Some trivia: Cinch is a trick-taking card game where the goal is to win tricks with scoring cards, with the first side to win 51 points the winner. Bunco is a dice game played with three dice over six rounds. "Bunco" is rolling three dice that match the round number and is worth 21 points. The team with the most points at the end of six rounds is the winner.
