Photos of Burley Cemetery

Never before seen photos! In the 1800's original Minnesota City settler DQ Burley had a cemetery on his property which held the graves of his first wife Naomi and their child. This gravesite was later relocated to Burley property on a hillside that now overlooks highway 61. The property was later owned by John Denzer and now has private owners. A few years ago Deb Sobeck got permission to hike to this historic cemetery and take these wonderful photos
